About this Blog

This blog was started in January 2014 with the intent to cover all news and events that might lead to major monetary system change in the future. Over the last many years now, it has turned into somewhat of a personal journey.

I started out with some questions about how the world monetary system might change and how it might impact my family, but without many answers. In the process of learning about what the answers might be, I have met some amazing people along the way. They have all helped provide me with a much better idea of what the range of reasonable possibilities are for the future. At its best, this blog is marketplace of alternative views and ideas from highly credible sources without any kind of agenda (political, commercial, etc). The marketplace of ideas for monetary system reform linked just above is the result of years of research and effort to collect the information into one place to make it easier to find. Many of the articles on this page contain direct quotes from the experts involved explaining their proposals for readers here.

My goal is for this blog to remain a free resource to the public looking for information on this topic. Experts who would like to have their ideas and views on the topics covered here without any editorial editing of their comments are welcome any time. For that matter everyone is welcome here. I am happy to receive email comments or questions and I try to reply as soon as I can (I do have a regular job and the blog is not it :)

I will add that this blog has been more successful than I ever imagined. It was originally intended just for a few friends and family and as an archive to track the news and events over time. I never imagined this blog would get over 800,000 visits from people in over 150 different countries. Blog articles from this site have been run on other popular sites and mentioned on twitter by Jim Rickards (and more recently here), and Willem Middelkoop. Silver Doctors runs a number of articles published here such as this one. Bill Holter wrote an article mentioning our list of systemic risk warnings here. Some articles here also appear on Talk Markets.

The list of people who have kindly replied to my emails over time includes all the above and many more. That list now includes some of the leading experts in the world on these topics. I owe them a debt of thanks because they are all very busy and it takes valuable time to reply to an email. They answered because they all wanted to try and help readers here get the best information possible on these sometimes complex and confusing issues.

I hope all this means the information on the blog is useful to readers. That is the intent. I plan to continue it so long as I have the time available to do the research and write the articles. Thanks to all readers here and for those who have emailed me with questions and helpful comments.  Best wishes.                 Larry
